The Global Health Research Network (GHRN) successfully hosted the “2025 GHRN Workshop” from October 27 to 29, 2025, at Jeju Halla University, Jeju, South Korea.

Under the theme “The Future of Global Healthcare Research Networks and Collaborative Directions,” the workshop brought together researchers, academic scholars, and industry professionals to discuss opportunities for cross-disciplinary collaboration and innovation in healthcare research.

The event began with an introduction of distinguished guests, followed by an opening address by Kang Pa Lee, Ph.D. (President of GHRN / CEO of UMUST R&D), a scientific presentation by Eun-sil Cho, Ph.D. (Korea Basic Science Institute), and the GHRN Scholarship Award Ceremony. Eun-sil Cho presented her work on “Disease Modeling Using Optical Imaging,” emphasizing the importance of convergence research in biomedical science and the central role of GHRN in fostering international collaboration.

During the scholarship ceremony, selected recipients were honored as “2025 GHRN Scholars” for their outstanding academic excellence and contributions to the GHRN research community.
The workshop, co-hosted by GHRN and Jeju Halla University, provided a meaningful platform to strengthen research partnerships and advance GHRN’s vision of “Science to Solution.”
