During the first week of my internship, I had the opportunity to have several meaningful conversations with the CEO. One of the most memorable topics we discussed was the idea of a “dream.”
Looking back, I realized that I had never taken the time to deeply reflect on what my dream truly was. But through this opportunity, I was able to clarify and refine it: my dream is to be happy and to make the people around me happy, by giving my full effort.
It was a conversation that not only prompted me to reflect on my past, but also encouraged me to look ahead toward the future. It made me think seriously about what I want to do and what I can do during my time at UMUST R&D.
Since I had said that I needed to give my full effort to achieve my dream, the next step was to define the process. I began by brainstorming what I’m truly passionate about – researching, reflecting, and identifying the topics that genuinely interest me. When I shared several of these ideas with the CEO, he simply responded, “Why not do all of them?”
From that moment, I felt a surge of excitement, thinking about everything I could explore, learn, and accomplish during this internship.
