About Healthcare Research and Practice
Healthcare Research and Practice is the official journal of the Global Health Research Network (GHRN), launched in 2025 to promote evidence-based, interdisciplinary approaches in healthcare and aging research. The journal is currently published biannually and plans to expand its frequency in response to increased scholarly contributions.
This peer-reviewed journal provides a platform for original research, reviews, and practical insights across a wide range of topics related to aging, chronic disease management, health system innovation, digital health, global health equity, mental health, and health promotion.
The journal welcomes submissions in the following categories:
Original Research, Short review, and Reviews (by editorial invitation). Each submission undergoes rigorous peer review to ensure scientific quality and relevance to the global health community.
Healthcare Research and Practice aims to bridge the gap between research, policy, and real-world implementation, with a strong emphasis on the needs of aging populations in both developed and developing countries.
Statements and opinions expressed in published articles are those of the authors and do not necessarily reflect the official position of the Global Health Research Network.
Currently, the journal is not yet indexed in major bibliographic databases. The editorial team is actively pursuing registration and indexing in platforms such as PubMed Central, SCOPUS, and Web of Science, and is committed to upholding the highest standards of editorial and ethical publishing.
